When I was but a lad my grandfather used to take me fishing in Choctawhatchee Bay in Florida. While I don’t remember a lot about it, I do remember him telling me that it was very important that one kept one’s mouth shut while fishing, because fish could hear you breathe. Chances are he was just having a little fun with me or maybe wanted me to be quiet, but it’s a fishing superstition I’ve lived with all my life.

Wizards gotta have fishing superstitions…maybe certain routines you go through before casting a line that don’t really have anything mechanical to do with catching fish, but you honestly believe somehow it’s gonna help you land the whopper.
