Captain Blood Contest!

One of my favorite contests we’ve ever run involved captioning a picture. We’re going to try it again. More after the jump…

See? Look at this guy – he’s just begging for a caption! I’ll grant you, he’s not doing much aside from looking menacing, so you’ll have to get creative. Send an e-mail to spiralradio101@gmail.com with a caption to this picture. It could be a description of the situation, could be something the good Captain is saying, you’ve got a lot of room to flex those creative muscles.

We’re gonna pick one response we really like, and that pirate is going to win:

CAPTAIN BLOOD JACKET, HOOK, AND 10,000 CROWNS

…then we’ll pick two runners-up we really enjoy, and those two pirates will win:

CAPTAIN BLOOD’S HOOK AND 5,000 CROWNS

…annnnnndd then we’ll pick three folks from the rest of the group at random – those three folks will each win 2,500 CROWNS!

We’re going to try something interesting with this contest – every day, starting Thursday, October 17, I’m going to pick one person who has entered the contest at random, and that person will win a code for a companion training tome. I’ll pick the winner at about 12 noon Central time every day. Winning a companion tome doesn’t preclude you from winning one of the big prizes. However, no one will win more than one companion tome, and there’s certainly no guarantee you will win one. We’ll give one away every day until we run out of them.
