What Would You Watch? CONTEST CLOSED

So we’ve been streaming quite a bit over the past two weeks. If you’ve checked out our Twitch.TV channel, you’ve seen Jeff and me play some World of Tanks, me playing some Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Chris and me playing some World of Warcraft, and all of us playing some Wizard101. We all really enjoy these games (and many others), but what would you like to see?

EDIT: The contest associated with this post has ended. Thanks to everyone who entered!

While we love having a couple people watch the stream in a kind of intimate setting, I think it’d be fun for everyone involved to have a slightly larger group for a couple reasons:

  • It’d mean a more energetic atmosphere, not unlike the SR101 chat room. More people means more chatter between people watching and more opportunities for us to interact. That seems like fun for everyone involved.
  • More people means the contests we run during streamed events can have more winners – we want to spread the wealth and make sure everyone gets a chance to win!

So if you just aren’t interested in watching streamed gameplay, no worries. I can understand that. However, if you are interested, what would you like to watch? More Wizard? More Pirate? Another game entirely? Please leave us a comment with the game or games you’d be interested in watching and we’ll see if we can’t work them in! Make sure it’s something appropriate (and preferably free-to-play).

EDIT: Let’s sweeten the pot. Leave us your comment with the games you’d like to see us stream – we’ll pick three commenters at random Friday (say around 12pm Central time) and give those three commenters a code for 2,500 Crowns each.

Games to look forward to in the future:

…and, of course, Pirate101 and Wizard101. We’ll be sure to announce streamed events on Twitter and right here at spiralradio101.com. Hope to see you there!

EDIT: Congratulations to Corwin Mythcrafter, Brandon Owlsword, and Taylor! Each of whom won 2,500 crowns. We appreciate everyone’s comments!

  1. I would definitely love to see more Wizard101 since that is the main game I play. Like you said, being able to interact in a larger group setting would be a great experience and fun for the community as a whole.

  2. I’d love to see some more p101 action! I love wiz (it was my first baby) but Pirate101 stole my heart. NXP parties (when they pick back up with new releases) would be something awesome to watch! I’m sure the chaos that would ensue would be completely entertaining 😀 And who wouldn’t want to watch and say ‘hey that’s my ship!’ I know I would!

  3. I would love to see more Wizard101 because it is in fact the main game I play and tend to watch you guys play. Pirate101 is great to, but it’s just not my style. I suggest you stick a lot of effort into these two games since it was the base root of how you guys started, at least as I’ve heard.

  4. I’d love to see more Wizard101, and Minecraft streamed! I know a lot of people in the Wizard community love MC, so it would be fun for those who play, and those who want to see what its about.

  5. The only other games I’ve played in the past that I found really fun and interesting were Cube World and Aion. Aion is actually similar to WoW but completely free. Cube World is $20 unfortunately but it’s extremely fun in my opinion. Sadly, it’s lacking updates but maybe the reason is that they are coming out with something big.

I really like your current games though. 🙂 Sadly, I’ve been one of the only ones watching them but hopefully after this, it changes. 🙂

  6. I love the ones you’re already playing, but I’d love to see you rock some Fable action on Xbox 360 (Fable 2 is my favorite game of all time but I love all three of them). Also, I don’t know if you have an old school original Nintendo and Super Mario Bros. game but considering that you can beat that game in less than five minutes with the warp zones, it’d be kind of cool to have you guys race to see who can finish the game first. But keep up the W101 and P101 gameplay no matter what!

  7. I’m not very familiar with the gaming scene and don’t play any games besides Pirate101 and Wizard101. It would be fun to see other card based style games. I’ve kind of looked into Hearthstone and would be interested in seeing what that is all about. I find myself drawn to games with more cartoon-ish style graphics. Must be the kid in me

  8. I would like to see more of Pirate101, there are plenty of Wizard101 resources out there but since Pirate101 is still fairly new (1 year compared to Wizard’s 5 years), some advice and thoughts on there would be awesome. I’d also love to see you guys say how you play, with companions, gear setups, practice points and all, to give us some insight on some new strategies. I always like seeing other players’ perspective on game aspects and it helps me revamp my strategy a bit.

And nooooo don’t betray us with World of Warcraft!! D:!!

Lol whatever you choose to stream I’m sure we’ll all be very satisfied with it.

  9. I would just love it if you guys would focus only on Pirate101 streams for the next few days, the storyline seams to get really interesting from the end of Skull Island, but as a free to play player, I’d like to see what happens next, and although I’m pretty much interested in playing World Of Warcraft, my computer’s memory simply decided to be a jerk and not accept the game because it’s large, also I heard it’s a heavily not family friendly game!

    • I think we’ll probably be playing quite a bit of Wizard101 in the next few days, but we should get to some Pirate101 before long. World of Warcraft isn’t really a good game for young people under 15 or 16.

      • Also, sorry for not making to the past shows of P8ARRRGH! and SR101 #1, I blame it all on school, time difference and my mother’s strictness when it comes to studying hard for an English Literature full scholarship!
