The Halloween Contest!

Halloweenfest in Wizard101 is great. Not just for the decorations and the quests and the fun items, but because it always brings with it spooky and awesome new pets and mounts. And we’ve got some to give to you! More after the jump…

So have you listened to the show yet? No? Wellllll…winning this contest is gonna be tough. Let me explain.

Last night, I asked Christina what she’d name her Vampire pet if she got one. She gave me a pretty clever answer. What you’ve gotta do is e-mail us that name to spiralradio101@gmail.com. Use the subject VAMPIRE NAME CONTEST and be sure to include your wizard name!

(As always, leaving a comment on this post will not be counted as an entry, you’ve got to e-mail us!)

Contest entries must be in by Wednesday, October 16 at 12:01AM Central time.

So what’s on the prize block? Well, we’re gonna pick ten correct answers at random – those folks will win two codes. One of those codes will net a random mount, the other a random pet. Here are the possibilities:

Random Mount

  • Nightmare
  • Night Wyvern
  • Nightrunner
  • Bat Wings
  • Mechanical Wings
  • Panther
  • Shadowsteed
  • Swiftshadow Wings
  • Renaissance Wings

and a Random Pet!

  • Nightmare Pet
  • Vampire Pet
  • Death Scarab Pet
  • Gob-O-Lantern Pet
  • Deer Knight
  • Night Hawk
  • Nightwalker
  • Skeletal Night
  • Midnight Sprite
  • Boar Knight
  • Hollow Knight
  • Death Leprechaun
  • Dark Crow

(Phew! That’s a lot of typing!)

Two things. I know the show isn’t posted yet. And chances are it won’t be posted until Friday. If you saw the show last night, you’re free and clear to enter. If not, then you’ll have to wait, but you know exactly what to listen for.

Also, the prize awarded is RANDOM and is set by KI. We’ve got no control over it, so if the pet or mount isn’t one you like…well…there’s nothing we can do about it.

Good luck!

    • We received it, no worries. We can’t really send a confirmation e-mail for each entry – we’d be sending out dozens, if not hundreds of them for every contest! 😉 My advice is to double-check the address you type in when sending the message. If you have the address correct, there’s about a 99.99% chance it’s gonna get to us no problem.
